Glaucoma

Glaucoma is the name given to a group of eye disease processes which damage the optic nerve and can lead to vision loss and blindness. Glaucoma is the second most common cause of blindness worldwide. At least 1 in 200 Australians have glaucoma at age 40 and this rises to 1 in 8 Australians over age 80.
